Many of us are facing problem transferring the contacts from the old nokia models to the iphone. I had faced the similar problem ,hence I thought would be helpful like me so, I have posted this tutorial.

Alright first of all , I assume you have nokia sets with memory card in it .  We will copy all contacts to memory card and download the contacts(vcf) files to desktop pc.  We are going to use google contacts, plaxo(iphone app) for this process to complete.

After downloading the contacts from memory card to desktop pc we need to merge all vcf contacts to single file and import them to google contacts.
for eg C:\Users\Admin\Desktop\Contacts> your vcf contacts are located here.
Open a windows command prompt, navigate to your previously created directory and simply type

copy *.vcf mycontacts.vcf

What this command  does, it copies all contents of your separate *.vcf files into one single file(mycontacts.vcf). Now import this single file into your google contacts account and all your contacts should import just fine.

Now install the plaxo app in your iphone and then visit the plaxo site , click  on import contacts from gmail. and you are ready to sync with your iphone all of your contacts
